The WSU Cycling Club participates in both local and collegiate sanctioned races. Collegiate races are sanctions by USA Cycling.

The collegiate road season is during the spring semester, March-May. Winona State University is in the North Central Collegiate Cycling Conference (NCCCC). There are approximately five weekends of racing located between Kansas and North Dakota.
